Description
CP-411 pH/mV Handheld Meter + IJ Electrode
Detailed description
Used for pH, mV (redox potential) and temperature measurements.
Characteristic features:
- Large easy to read LCD display enables simultaneous readout of the measuring function and temperature value.
- Waterproof housing (IP-66) enables work in difficult conditions.
- Small size and low weight make working in the field easier.
- Two kinds of power source, battery or optional power adapter, enable working in the field or long lasting work in laboratory.
- Calibration of the pH electrode: 1, 2 or 3 points.
- Automatic buffer detection 4.00; 7.00; 9.00 pH. (optionally 4.00; 7.00; 10.00 pH).
- Automatic temperature compensation.
- Depending on the kind of connected pH electrode may be used for measurements of clean water, waste water, meat, cheese, pastes, soil etc.
- Readout of the electrode’s slope and offset.
- Possibility of automatic calculation of the redox potential result, received with the chloride/silver electrode, to the hydrogen electrode.
- Wide range of the temperature measurement.
- Easy-in-use.
- Memory of 50 results.
- Equipped with separate stainless steel temperature sensor (Pt-1000B).
- Powered by 9V battery or power adapter (12 V / 100 mA) option.
- Long-lasting work on 1 battery.
- Automatic switch off function to protect the battery.
- 24 months of warranty for the meter.
The standard set includes CT2B-121 temperature sensor with Pt-1000B resistor, EPS-1 pH electrode for measurements in clean water. It should not be used in other types of liquid. Measurements in liquids with sediments should be made with use of IJ-44A pH electrode, which enables measurements in various samples of both clean and contaminated liquids and semi-solids. Its unusual construction (”intermediate junction”) protects the real junction (diaphragma) of the electrode against clogging, ensures stable measurements in these types of liquids or semi-liquid masses, in which other electrodes stop working quickly. When properly handled and maintained, the electrode’s lifetime is longer than the standard electrodes.
