HMSA4000 GPS SPEED ALERT WITH ODOMETER
$350.00
Hummingbird Electronics’ enhanced GPS Speed Alert provides drivers with an accurate, highly visible, fast response digital speedometer, over-speed alert and odometer in a small, easy to mount unit.
The GPS Speed Alert requires no installation or calibration and is simply connected to the vehicle through a cigarette lighter power plug.
Description
Powerful Performance
The GPS Speed Alert uses satellites to calculate 3-dimensional speed and heading independently of the vehicle. No calibration is required for the unit to display accurate speed and distance in kilometres or miles.
The user can choose between various displays to show speed, odometer, heading, position and battery voltage.
The unit contains an internal antenna and the only electrical connection required is via a cigarette lighter plug that can be used in 12V or 24V vehicles.
Speed and distance is displayed on a colour screen; the colour changes from green to orange as the user-settable speed-threshold is exceeded. A buzzer can be enabled to sound as an over-speed warning. The speed threshold can be set by the user by pressing the up or down arrows on the keypad. To change the speed unit or to enable or disable the buzzer, the menu key in conjunction with an on-screen menu is used.
The unit can be mounted with a windscreen, any standard camera, bracket or RAM mount.
